To be admitted in the New Dimensions Dance Company, dancers must be accepted through an audition process. Applicants will participate in a class that will include a ballet barre, adagio and petit allegro, a short jazz class (basic jazz technique) and a short jazz combination. The purpose of the audition class is to determine the applicant's technical ability in a variety of dance styles and his/her ability to take direction.

The purpose of the short jazz combination is to demonstrate the applicant’s performing skill.

Applicants are requested to wear appropriate dance attire for the audition.

Criteria For Acceptance

~Talent and potential as a performer. The staff at New Dimensions is most interested in those students who show strong performing abilities.

~Level and quality of training. Although New Dimensions is a teaching company, a certain criteria must be met before being accepted. The Titusville Ballet & Jazz center offers several classes the will help the aspiring dancer get prepared for the New Dimensions audition.

~Musicality.

~Awareness - Dancers must be able to take direction
